Caring for your Candle

• Candle colour will fade in light - so if you’d like to minimise fading, keep out of direct sunlight.
• You can polish your beeswax candle with a soft cloth.
• Over time, your candle may develop a whitish coating - it’s called a beeswax “bloom”, and can be reversed by gently heating with a hairdryer. It is a normal and harmless substance that comes from the wax itself, a natural occurrence that occurs with pure beeswax products.
• Secure candle to suitable holder and burn candle in a draft free area away from curtains

Caring for wide pillar candles:

• During first burn, burn for a few hours - until the wax pool reaches the edge of candle, as it has a “burnpool memory”. If you don't, your candle will tunnel down without burning the sides.
• Keep wick trimmed to 5mm, dip in melted wax pool to extinguish flame, and remove excess wick when cold with a wick trimmer or scissors.
• Try not to get any burnt wick bits into the hot wax pool, as impurities can cause the wick to get blocked, which will stop the candle from burning well.
